What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC lathes and vertical machining centers to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Set up and perform tooling changes for part change overs, this will include program selection and performing any necessary adjustment to meet part specifications.
- Inspect parts to blueprints using multiple hand tools and measuring equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments during production runs to maintain quality and productivity.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Follow standard work instructions and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Work closely with teammates and supervisors to ensure consistent quality and output.
- Participate in training to develop additional skills.
- Previous machining or CNC operating experience (setup experience a plus but not required).
- Basic understanding of machining practices, tooling, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and good math skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school experience preferred.
- $1,500 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days, contingent on successful onboarding and demonstrated proficiency in core responsibilities (such as machine setup, blueprint reading, and adherence to quality and safety standards).
- Training begins on 1st shift; candidates must be able to transition to 2nd shift upon completion.
