Warehouse Associate

Summary of Position:

Receive, store, pick and issue material, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or offsite storage.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Performing daily cycle counting activities.
• Maintaining accurate inventory of materials.
• Reporting and resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Removing and recording irregular, defective and damaged materials. 
• Maintaining and inventorying materials in stock and record in database.
• Stocking and organizing inventory.
• Supporting Assembly Department.
• Supporting Boxing Department.
• Picking orders.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Scope of Position:

Perform tasks necessary to warehousing functions within AIC including and not limited to counting, storing, receiving, picking and issuing material; recording and reconciling transactions; and assisting Boxing and Assembly Departments.

Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience/Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Valid forklift operator’s license a plus.
• SAGE 500 experience a plus.
• Proficiency at using computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) a plus.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Familiarity with common material handling equipment.
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Quick learner, highly motivated self-starter and able to manage time wisely.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs. regularly
• Occasionally 50lbs as needed

• While performing the duties of this job one would occasionally be required to stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools and equipment.
• Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.
• Overtime may be necessary as workloads dictate. This may include weekdays and weekends.
• Job duties will generally be performed in a shop environment, but may require visits to the office and production sites.
