Anderson Industrial Contracting is a Baltimore-based structural steel and industrial piping fabricator looking for an experienced pipe welder. We fabricate and install tanks, process piping, structural steel, and industrial equipment for commercial and industrial customers. Shop work is at our facility on DeSoto Road in Baltimore.
What you’ll do
- Perform SMAW and GTAW welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and fittings
- Weld in all positions, including 6G
- Produce welds that consistently pass radiographic testing (RT)
- Read and follow welding procedures, drawings, and quality requirements
- Fit, tack, and finish pipe joints in the shop
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety rules
What we need
- Proven experience welding pipe with SMAW and GTAW on carbon steel and stainless steel
- Ability to pass a 6G weld test with RT
- Reliable transportation and the ability to get to the shop on time
- Drug-free (pre-employment and ongoing testing)
- Willingness to work overtime when available
