**Key Responsibilities**
- Review construction documents and confirm materials are correct and quantities are adequate for job completion. Report any shortages, quality/quantity issues or damages to purchasing before installation.
- Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and specialty tiles for residential projects.
- Prepare and level surfaces; apply waterproofing systems and follow precise layout techniques.
- Measure, cut, and fit tiles using wet saws, snap cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
- Mix, apply, and clean grout with consistent precision and attention to detail.
- Inspect finished work to ensure alignment with quality standards and project specs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site and company vehicle.
- Coordinate with project leads, designers, and fellow trades to meet project schedules.
- Follow all company safety practices and standard operating procedures.
- 2 years of professional tile installation experience (residential preferred).
- Expertise in layout, prep, waterproofing, and setting tile to industry standards.
- Proficient with tile saws, hand tools, and related equipment.
- High integrity, attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record (required to drive company vehicle).
