Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, boilers, thermostats, and ductless mini split systems
- Perform HVAC maintenance, tune-ups, safety inspections, and system evaluations
- Diagnose electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues
- Test electrical components including capacitors, contactors, motors, boards, sensors, and controls
- Check refrigerant pressures, temperatures, airflow, and overall system performance
- Perform leak searches, repairs, evacuations, and refrigerant charging procedures
- Replace HVAC components including motors, ignitors, gas valves, control boards, compressors, and related parts
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain repair options clearly
- Educate customers on system performance, maintenance, indoor air quality, and replacement options when needed
- Complete paperwork, invoices, photos, and job notes accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle
- Represent Anderson Heating & Cooling with professionalism and integrity
Experience:
- Residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Knowledge of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and indoor air quality products
- Understanding of electrical circuits, low voltage wiring, refrigerant systems, and airflow principles
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and equipment specifications
- Experience with ductless mini splits is a plus
- Boiler experience is a plus
- EPA Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and desire to continue improving

$25.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)
