Overview
As a part time Handy Man/Maintenance Technician at Anderson Florist you will be responsible for helping us maintain and repair our grounds and equipment. From servicing small engines to basic plumbing there's always something different to be done.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on small engines and company vehicles.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Assist with construction or installation projects related to facility upgrades or system improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to support operational transparency and planning.
Qualifications
- Experience performing light maintenance on small engines and vehicles (replacing air/fuel filters, oil changes, etc.)
- Construction experience is a plus for handling installation or upgrade projects within the facility.
- Ability to operate a skid steer.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
