Job Overview
We are seeking multiple experienced Part-Time Snow Plow Drivers to support our operations in West Virginia, primarily Monongalia County, throughout the winter season. This position is as needed based on weather conditions and requires someone dependable, safety-focused, and able to work a flexible schedule when winter storms are forecasted.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate snow plow trucks to clear roadways, lots, and designated areas
Perform salting operations as needed
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Monitor weather conditions and remain available for call-ins
Follow all company, DOT, and OSHA safety protocols
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members during storm events
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of snow plow driving experience
Class B CDL
Ability to work long or irregular hours during winter weather events (nights, weekends, holidays)
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Ability to work outdoors in harsh winter conditions
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with salting/spreading equipment
Previous municipal, commercial, or fleet plowing experience
Mechanically inclined (basic troubleshooting or equipment checks)
Availability:
This position is on-call/as-needed based on snow and ice conditions during the winter season.
Reports to:
The Part Time Snow Plow Driver will report to the Company Dispatcher.
