Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems within construction and industrial environments. Responsibilities
- Assist experienced electricians with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support installation projects
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various tasks
- Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety compliance
- Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision, including low voltage and high voltage systems
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction site work, including adherence to NEC standards and proper handling of electrical components
Experience
- Prior experience with residential, industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment such as ohmmeters is advantageous
- Construction site experience or background in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, or low/high voltage systems is preferred
- Knowledge of NEC standards and safety procedures related to electrical work is beneficial
- Strong interest in learning the electrical trade with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
