What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver position at Anderson Door?
Job Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate who will also work as a part-time delivery driver on select days. Most of the job involves loading and unloading trucks, organizing products, and preparing customer orders. You will also make local deliveries on established routes using our fleet of well-maintained straight trucks with automatic transmissions.
Duties
- Pull, stage, and load product for customer orders accurately, while providing excellent service
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks
- Put away products and keep inventory organized.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
- Follow company safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Make local deliveries on 26' box truck as needed
- Provide courteous, professional service when assisting customers and making deliveries.
- Help with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement in a non-climate controlled environment
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience is preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack is preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy products.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, organized, and able to stay on task.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR
- Comfortable driving a delivery vehicle and loading or unloading deliveries.
- Willingness to follow all company safety procedures.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
