POSITION: Deputy- School Resource Officer

DEPARTMENT: Anderson County Sheriff’s Office

Responsibilities:

A School Resource Officer’s responsibility is to conduct law enforcement duties under limited supervision. Work performed includes providing a safe environment for students; protecting the property, facilities, citizens, staff, and performing other duties assigned. He/she shall serve as a liaison between law enforcement and school, school administrators and local juvenile authorities while adhering to all departmental policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Class 1 LEO Certified by SCCJA

Basic/Advanced SRO Certification, or the ability to obtain as soon as possible (Desired).
