- Ability to meet and deal with the public effectively; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to handle stressful situations.
- Ability to be on-call 24/7 to work unscheduled hours, in case needed by County Administrator.
- Must have the ability to work on own after responsibilities are assigned. Assignments are normally in terms of results and priorities of effort. Ability to follow guidelines, whether general in nature or incomplete, requiring interpretation to fit specific cases or situations.
- May have some choice in methods and may develop work methods, which are consistent with established policies and procedures. Consults with the County Administrator, apprising him or her of progress and developments.
- Ability to effectively meet and deal with the public; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to handle stressful situations and/or frequent interruptions.
Required Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalency
- 1 to 3 years' experience
