What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal position at Anderson County High School?
The Principal is responsible for all functions involving leading, guiding, and directing all activities at the school. The successful candidate must not only possess the appropriate educational requirements, but will be intensely involved in all aspects of leading a staff and managing the business aspects of a school.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher. Appropriate Tennessee state licensure must be issued before the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Previous administrative experience is highly desirable. Minimum of five years of teaching experience. Leadership preparation through TILS required.
Applicants who do not reach the minimum requirements set forth herein will not be considered for this position.
The Principal receives a supplement in addition to the salary.
