Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Intensive In-Home Clinician to work with children, adolescents, and families in their homes and communities. This role is specifically designed to support school-aged youth, meaning services are primarily provided after school hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who prefer afternoon and evening hours and enjoy working directly with youth and families in meaningful, community-based settings.
Schedule Expectations
Primary service hours: *Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM** (flexible based on family needs)
Some *daytime hours available when school is not in session** (holidays, summer, early dismissals)
- Flexible scheduling and autonomy to coordinate with families
- Limited weekend hours may be available but are not required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intensive in-home counseling services to children, adolescents, and families
- Deliver strength-based, solution-focused interventions
- Support behavior management, emotional regulation, and family functioning
- Collaborate with schools, caregivers, and community providers
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field** (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field)
*At least two (2) years of experience** working with children, adolescents, or families
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work afternoon and evening hours
Preferred Qualifications
*Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field**
- Virginia licensure or license-eligible (Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, LMHP-Eligible, etc.)
- Experience providing community-based or in-home services
- Experience working with high-risk youth and families
