What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - Tier II position at Anderson Communities Inc?
Maintenance Technician - Tier II, Full-time
Duties include:
- Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement
- Deliver great resident experiences by performing a variety of skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and prioritize work accordingly
- Troubleshoot work orders daily for resident service request and ensure they are completed in a timely fashion
- Reasonable on call rotation
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- EPA Certification, REQUIRED
- HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical certification, preferred
- Troubleshooting/repair experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical - strongly desired
- Trade School Certificate in related fields, preferred
- Troubleshooting/repair experience in household Appliances, preferred
- Minimum Tools Required: Standard tools (Hammer, screwdriver, wrench, pliers, etc.)
- Must have good communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Must be drug and felony free, and maintain a clear appearance
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
