What are the responsibilities and job description for the BRANCH TRAINING SPECIALIST position at Anderson Brothers Bank?
Prepares training materials and training environment as needed for training sessions.
Assists with tracking training completion and informing supervisors, Retail Team and management with relevant information pertaining to trainees.
Maintains department training calendar and scheduling to coordinate work flow and training sessions.
Maintains a neat, orderly and efficient Training and Development Department record system.
Maintains employee training records.
Ensures training materials are relevant to the current policies and procedures;
Creates and modifies documents such as letters, procedures, presentations and other training materials as needed.
Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, record keeping, data entry and other organizational support.
Maintains Training Department supplies and needed materials.
Supports members of the Training Department in assigned projects, as needed.
Conducts training for new Tellers, CSRs and Call Center employees.
Prepares trainees for upcoming sessions including, but not limited to, schedules, location, objectives and expected outcomes.
Provides information needed for responses regarding trainee’s participation.
Assists with training follow-ups and remedial training as needed
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Experience
Required- Ability to commute to needed locations for training.
- Ability to work alone being self-motivated, as well as, with a team by maintaining effective, positive and cooperative working relationships within the Training Department, ABB organization and others as relevant to the position.
- Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgement in making decisions within the scope of the authority of the position.
- Ability to effectively communicate using interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately complete tasks within set timelines using strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of general office equipment including computer and computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- 2 year(s): Minimum of 2 years of proficient experience in bank Retail Operations including but not limited to duties as a Teller and CSR.
