Job Summary
The Carpenter will help in all aspects of deck construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on person who has construction abilities and can ensure quality, maintain safety standards, and follow instruction.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and Install Structures: Build, assemble, and install frameworks, walls, decks, roofs, and other wooden structures using hand and power tools, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes.
- Perform General Labor Tasks: Assist with site preparation, including demolition, material handling, and cleanup, while transporting and organizing lumber, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Measure, Cut, and Shape Materials: Accurately measure, mark, cut, and shape wood, decking, or other materials to precise dimensions, ensuring proper fit and alignment for construction projects.
- Maintain Tools and Safety Standards: Inspect and maintain tools and equipment for proper functioning, while adhering to safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting hazards to ensure a safe job site.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with supervisors, other carpenters, and subcontractors to complete tasks on schedule, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality craftsmanship in all project phases.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in construction.

- Skills:

- At least 3 years of construction knowledge.
- Strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great attitude!

- Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, up to 150lbs, work in various weather conditions, and stand for long periods.
