Were looking for a dedicated Environmental Services & Housekeeping Specialist to help keep our facility spotless, comfortable, and safe for our clients and staff. Your work will directly contribute to the well-being of adolescents who rely on us for emotional support and care.
What You'll Do:
As a vital part of our housekeeping team, youll:
- Keep assigned areas clean and well-stocked by refilling supplies, removing trash, and tidying up.
- Sanitize bathrooms, showers, and other high-touch surfaces to maintain a safe and hygienic space.
- Quickly respond to spills or accidents to ensure immediate cleanliness and safety.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
- Report any safety issues or hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
What Were Looking For:
- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
- High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience in cleaning or laundry operations.
- A passion for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort.
- Team player who is reliable, coachable, and eager to make an impact.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid NC drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in dynamic or challenging situations.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
This role includes physical tasks like walking, bending, and lifting. You must be able to stay alert and agile, especially during emergencies, and handle occasional interactions with individuals in emotional distress. Your ability to respond quickly and safely is essential.
Other Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Ability to demonstrate strong self-regulation strategies
- Willingness to learn and take direction from leadership
