Bilingual Spanish/English-speaking Paralegal
Anderson and Anderson is hiring a full-time, in-person bilingual paralegal.

We specialize in immigration and criminal law and are equipped to handle a wide range of legal matters. We represent clients in Immigration Court, before the Citizenship and Immigration Service, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Minnesota state courts.
Job Purpose:
Researching, obtaining, compiling, and preparing client information for submission to USCIS, EOIR, and state courts. Provides outstanding customer service to our clients.
Duties:
* Researches law sources by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions.
* Compiles evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, and databases, and by interviewing clients.
* Prepares legal documents for attorney approval and use by identifying forms and formats; producing text; proofreading; maintaining document control system.
* Manages and prioritizes files and documents; coordinates with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts; manages court docket calendar; expedites paper flow; maintaines schedules and deadlines.
* Prepares for hearings by preparing exhibits and keeping diligent track of deadlines.
* Drafts appeals by researching legal basis for appeal.
* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
