Position Summary
The Shop Helper supports the daily operations of the workshop and warehouse. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while assisting technicians and shop staff with basic tasks.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist technicians and shop staff with routine tasks
· Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
· Organize inventory, supplies, and materials
· Load and unload deliveries and shipments
· Run errands and pick up parts or supplies as needed
· Properly dispose of waste and recyclables
Requirements
· Mechanically inclined
· Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
· Ability to drive a truck with a trailer
· Ability to follow directions and work independently
· Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or similar environment
· Strong communication skills
· Good time management and organizational skills
· Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
