POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cyber Security Administrator to lead and manage the security of our IT infrastructure across multiple locations (MI, OH, FL). This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data and systems, and will be instrumental in executing our Computer Security Incident Response Plan (CSIRP) and broader cybersecurity strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Security Oversight & Incident Response
- Lead the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and manage the execution of the Computer Security Response Plan.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats including malware, phishing, ransomware, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of the CSIRP, incorporating lessons learned from incidents and evolving threat landscapes.
- Policy & Compliance
- Maintain and enforce security policies including acceptable use, data classification, and BYOD protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other protected data.
- Training & Awareness
- Administer phishing awareness and cybersecurity training programs using platforms like KnowBe4.
- Track employee risk scores and assign refresher courses as needed.
- Technology & Infrastructure
- Manage security software, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with IT Help Desk and Infrastructure teams to secure endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.
- Support secure migration initiatives such as transitioning to Windows 11 with AI-enhanced HP devices.
- Backup & Recovery
- Implement and monitor immutable backup solutions to support disaster recovery.
- Evaluate and improve data protection strategies across all systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity administration or IT security operations.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with Microsoft environments (Office 365, Azure), Cisco networking, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with phishing simulation platforms and cybersecurity training tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
