The international IT сompany Andersen invites a Solutions Architect in Dallas with an onsite work format to join our dynamic and highly skilled professional team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting multiple pre-sales initiatives, ensuring consistent architectural quality across domains and clients. 
  • Actively developing the technical community in Dallas, TX, and participating as a co-host, speaker, or leader. 
  • Guiding engineering teams on architectural decisions throughout all project phases to align with the solution vision. 
  • Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and long-term goals. 
  • Translating business drivers into scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions across cloud, applications, and data layers. 
  • Defining the technology vision and high-level solution approach for client needs. 
  • Creating and presenting architectural artifacts (e.g., C4 diagrams, integration designs, cloud topologies). 
  • Leading technical workshops and deep-dive sessions with clients and internal teams. 
  • Collaborating with Delivery Managers, developers, and SMEs to refine scope and ensure feasibility. 
  • Identifying risks, dependencies, and constraints, and proposing mitigation strategies. 
  • Contributing to estimates, solution proposals, and RFP/RFI responses. 
  • Ensuring consistency and technical integrity across components and integrations. 
  • Promoting modern engineering practices, cloud-native approaches, and a long-term strategy. 
  • Building strong client relationships through clear communication and technical leadership. 
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, recommending improvements and architectural evolution paths. 
  • Supporting delivery transitions and optionally taking architectural ownership of client projects. 
  • Staying informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and domain-specific patterns. 

 

Must-haves: 

  • Hands-on experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect for 5  years. 
  • Prior experience in software development (ideally Python, Java, or .NET), enough to understand implementation complexity and architectural trade-offs. 
  • Proven ability to design complex distributed solutions for enterprise clients and/or high-growth startups. 
  • Ability to evaluate and compare architectural approaches, tools, and cloud services based on performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability. 
  • Strong domain experience in at least one of the following: Banking, FinTech, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Insurance, AI/ML-based systems, Data Platforms / DWH / ETL. 
  • Experience participating in (or leading) pre-sales, discovery phases and architectural consulting engagements. 
  • Strong experience designing cloud-native solutions on Azure (priority), AWS (priority), and optionally GCP. 
  • Ability to create clear architectural documentation (C4, sequence diagrams, ERD, context diagrams, etc.). 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline. 
  • Level of English – from Advanced and above. 

 

Nice-to-haves: 

  • Experience participating in architectural reviews, audits, modernization assessments, or technical due diligence. 
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional/Associate). 
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator/Developer. 
  • TOGAF 9/10. 
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Architect (CKA/CKAD). 
  • Open Group OSA (Open Agile Architecture).  
  • SAFe Architect Certification.
