Production Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Production Operator will be responsible for testing the electronic functionality of products and assembling finished goods to ensure quality and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Connects products to various electronic testing equipment to conduct functionality tests.
• Reviews computer monitors to verify whether products are functional correctly.
• Retains functional products and removes defective ones based on diagnostic results.
• Transfers products to next stage in the production process as required.
• Record test results on travelers or in computer database.
• Operates various machinery to complete assembly tasks, such as installing heat sinks, screws, casings, and other components.
• Follows established work instructions and procedures to maintain quality standards.
• May require overtime.
• Performs other work-related tasks as assigned.

GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures accurately
• Capable of alternating between sitting and standing positions
• Ability to walk short distances as needed within the production area
• Proficient in gripping and handling objects effectively
• Demonstrates good hand-eye coordination
• Capable of occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 10 pounds
• Basic knowledge of computer operations is preferred

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in Manufacturing is preferred
