Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Intern will assist the maintenance team with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of the facility. This hands-on role involves physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and cleaning. The intern will gain valuable experience in industrial maintenance processes and safety procedures. This position will report to Maintenance Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES – other duties may be assigned

1. Removing Chip Bins: Efficiently remove and dispose of chip bins as required.
2. Coolant Clean Outs: Assist in cleaning and maintaining coolant systems to ensure optimal machine performance.
3. General Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the maintenance areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and equipment.
4. Assisting Maintenance Team: Provide support to the maintenance team in daily tasks and projects.
5. Lifting and Pulling: Perform tasks that require lifting, pulling, and other physical activities as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Enrolled in or recently completed a relevant technical or vocational program a plus.
3. Basic understanding of maintenance tasks and equipment.
4. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
5. Proficient in spoken and written English
