What You'll Do
As Kitchen Manager, you will serve as a key operational leader supporting the day-to-day needs of the culinary department while partnering closely with Banquet events.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and supervise stewarding and kitchen support operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety standards.
- This department is also responsible for preparing items for banquets/events and delivering those items to the appropriate location throughout the hotel.
- Coordinate and maintain proper storage, handling, and distribution of culinary and banquet equipment throughout the resort.
- Monitor sanitation, safety, and cleanliness throughout kitchens, stewarding areas, storage locations, and event spaces.
- Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and development of stewarding and kitchen support colleagues.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Lead Cook, Stewarding Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, banquet support, and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
