Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently and accurately
- Handle phone inquiries with polished etiquette, providing information and booking appointments
- Assist clients with product demos, upselling retail items to enhance their salon experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk, including stocking and merchandising retail products
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments and change
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive and well-maintained
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to process transactions smoothly
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
