What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at Ancorum Credit Union?
***Hourly rate includes a $3.00 shift premium for front line member contact. Start pay is $20.16 plus $3.00 shift premium, upon successful completion of your Introductory Period you will receive a $0.50 raise.
Your role is centered on creating a welcoming experience for members, helping them achieve financial success, and contributing to the overall success of the branch.
On a typical day, you will assist members with a variety of banking and financial needs, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other account transactions. Help members open new accounts, update account information, answer questions about products and services, and guide them toward solutions that support their financial goals.
Throughout the day, work to identify opportunities to recommend products and services that may benefit members while ensuring every interaction is accurate, efficient, and positive. Help resolve routine account issues, process disputes, verify documentation, and maintain the confidentiality of member information. In addition, I support branch operations collaborating with my teammates to ensure excellent service.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS of a FINANCIAL SERVICE ASSOCIATE:
1. Ensure confidentiality and preservation of member records, transactions, and company assets.
2. Ensure all activity complies with applicable policies and regulations.
3. Be depended upon to perform all duties as scheduled, accurately and efficiently.
4. Foster and maintain effective collaborative relations within the department and with other departments.
5. Represent the credit union in a positive and professional manner to the members, other credit unions, industry affiliates, the community, and all media channels including social media.
