Job Summary


As the leader of the Admissions Department, the Senior Director of Admissions (SDOA) motivates, trains and coaches admissions personnel on expected behaviors aligned with focus on the Ancora mission and Core Values. Admissions oversight, compliant admissions processes, and quality delivery of services to students resulting in successful outcomes are also primary responsibilities of the Senior Director of Admissions.The SDOA ensures that campus admissions personnel follow all college, state, and US DOE, accreditation compliance, regulations, and policies. 






Key Responsibilities 



  • Support online campus efforts to effectively deliver quality customer service to prospective students. 


  • Assist Directors of Admissions in the process of hiring, training, and managing admissions staff.


  • Follow all company, state, accreditor, and US DOE accreditation compliance regulations, processes, and policies. 


  • Provide tactical guidance, assistance, and leadership to ensure new student satisfaction during the admissions process. 


  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all paperwork and reports 


  • Randomly audit enrollment files to ensure accountability/accuracy of documents 


  • Collaboratively participate in employee performance evaluations and scheduled performance reviews 


  • Ensures that objectives, goals, plans, budgets, policies, practices and actions produce desired Admissions results, consistent with the overall mission and strategic plan for the department 


  • Develops and executes both short-term and long-term Admissions strategies in the department to ensure the Company’s growth and profitability objectives are met 


  • Establishes and maintains an effective system of communication throughout the department


  • Ensure that policies and decisions are properly executed at all levels 


  • Ensures that Director of Admissions carry out supervisory responsibilities which include the following: planning, assigning, and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performances; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems 


  • Ensure that Directors of Admissions are properly trained to handle all responsibilities for their location 


  • Ensures that morale of all Admissions personnel in the region is positive and provides for a viable organization in order to meet its commitments 


  • Provides personal leadership that encourages associate productivity and responsiveness to the needs of the department 


  • Other duties as assigned 



Education and Experience Required 



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred 


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully managing admissions teams 


  • Excellent people management skills with demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate employees


  • Superior written and verbal communication skills 


  • Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills 


  • Verifiable ability to work in fast-paced environment; willingness to have a flexible work and travel schedule 





Education and Experience Preferred



  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred 


  • 8 years of management experience with career schools and admissions teams

Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
