We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, Dry van trailers, flatbeds, and more. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, Dry van, the delivery of freight.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid (CDL) class A.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and safety regulations within the trucking industry.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail in completing delivery documentation.
