Midwest Radio Rentals is hiring a Rental and Inside Sales Associate to support daily rental operations, customer service, and sales growth. In this role, you will help customers with rental needs, manage equipment and documentation, and learn the two-way radio business while growing into a key contributor on our team.
Since 1995, Midwest Radio Rentals (MRR) has supplied Motorola two-way radio and accessory rentals for events and a wide range of industries. MRR is a dba of Ancom Communications, a locally owned communications company based in Burnsville, Minnesota, and an authorized Motorola dealer. We are proud to provide dependable equipment, tailored solutions, and strong customer service to clients throughout the region.
What You’ll Do:
· Respond promptly to incoming inquiries via phone, email, or online channels, providing information on product offerings, pricing, and availability
· Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate rental solutions
· Prepare and present rental quotes, contracts, and agreements to customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
· Follow up with customers to confirm orders, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the rental process.
· Assist in managing equipment reservations, pickups, and returns.
· Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, availability, and condition
· Program, clean and test rental equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with customer requirements
· Administrative tasks such as processing orders, generating reports, and maintaining documentation
· Invoicing
· Manage customer information
· Inventory management
What We’re Looking For:
· Experience in customer service, inside sales, office support, or a related role preferred
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Aptitude for fostering positive relationships and collaborating effectively within a team
· Willingness to learn the two-way radio industry and rental process
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
· Detail-oriented
· Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel, Outlook, and Word
Requirements:
· Ability to pass background check
· Valid driver’s license
· Work Authorization
· Ability to learn company products, processes, and customer service standards
· Access to a vehicle and ability to drive locally to customers as needed
Physical Requirements:
· Perform light office duties
· Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
· Full mobility of arms, hands and shoulders
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing or a related field is a plus
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 – 5:00
- Busy season (summer) may require weekend delivery and pick up of radios
Compensation:
· Starting pay $25.00 - $30.00 / hour depending on qualifications
