Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Facilities Maintenance Manager located in Shelton, CT. The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee facility operations, plan and perform preventive maintenance, manage building and equipment maintenance tasks, lead a team of maintenance staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role will also involve troubleshooting, scheduling repairs, and implementing solutions to optimize facility performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and effective communication
- Expertise in Facility Management (FM) and Maintenance Management
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance programs and related practices
- Proficiency in Building Maintenance including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work hands-on and make timely decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or related degrees preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
