About the role
We are looking for a reliable Field Measurement Specialist (Templater) to join our team in Milford, DE. This role is responsible for visiting customer homes and job sites to create accurate digital templates for granite, quartz, quartzite, marble, and porcelain countertops. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, enjoys working independently, and provides excellent customer service while ensuring every project is ready for fabrication.
Key responsibilities
- Visit residential and commercial job sites to create accurate digital templates for custom countertops.
- Verify that cabinets and job site conditions are ready for templating before taking measurements.
- Measure and document sink, faucet, cooktop, and other appliance locations.
- Review countertop layouts with customers when needed and answer basic questions about the templating process.
- Communicate measurements, layouts, and job details clearly with the fabrication and sales teams.
- Identify and report any issues that could affect fabrication or installation.
- Maintain organized digital records and job documentation.
- Represent Ancient Art Stone professionally at every customer visit.
Qualifications
- Experience with countertop templating is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Experience using digital templating systems such as Raptor, LT55, Proliner, Laser Products, or similar equipment is a plus.
- Construction, cabinetry, countertop installation, or finish carpentry experience is preferred.
- Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Schedule & location
- Full time position based in Milford, DE.
- Daily travel to customer homes and job sites throughout Delaware and nearby areas.
- Day shift, with occasional overtime depending on workload.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
