About Us
Anchors Oilfield Services, LLC is a growing, well-established company serving the Bakken region. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated landscaper who can work independently and own projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on role covering both landscaping and hardscaping plus irrigation/sprinkler work.
Job Summary
You will take complete responsibility for landscaping and hardscaping projects, including planning, installation, and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently outdoors in North Dakota conditions. Strong irrigation and sprinkler skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and maintain landscapes: planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and sod; installing mulch, soil, and edging; lawn care (mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding).
- Design and install hardscape features from start to finish: pavers, walkways, patios, retaining walls, and related stone/concrete work.
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation and sprinkler systems (including controllers, valves, heads, piping, winterization, and spring start-up).
- Perform general site maintenance and cleanup to keep properties looking professional and safe.
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment).
- Complete assigned jobs independently with high quality, on time, and with attention to detail and client/company standards.
- Follow all safety practices and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in both landscaping and hardscaping.
- Hands-on experience installing and maintaining irrigation/sprinkler systems.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and take projects from start to finish.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in quality work.
- Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in all weather (including heat, cold, and wind common in western North Dakota). Regular lifting of 50 lbs required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and communicate clearly.
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with North Dakota plants and climate.
- Irrigation or pesticide applicator certification.
- Experience operating a skid steer or similar equipment.
- Prior independent or small-crew project experience.
