Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plant Manager, based in Statesville, NC. The Plant Manager will oversee daily operations to ensure efficient production, manage teams to optimize productivity, and enforce safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities include monitoring production schedules, managing budgets, implementing process improvements, and coordinating with various departments to achieve operational goals. Ensuring facility and equipment maintenance as well as leading staff training and development are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Operations management skills including production scheduling, process optimization, and budgeting
- Leadership and team management abilities, including staff training, team building, and effective communication
- Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and facility management practices
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; familiarity with manufacturing software is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience will be considered
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant management role is highly desirable
