SUMMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR POSITION AVAILABLE
As a Summer Program Director, you will be essential in fostering a positive, Christian learning environment for students by providing programs for students in the community that address: Recreation, Tutoring, Homework Help, Literacy Program, Bible Program, and Social Emotional Program.
Reporting to the school principal, you will utilize your core skills in student and volunteer management and communication to engage effectively. Your premium skills in lesson planning will help create enriching educational experiences. Additionally, your relevant skills in trauma- informed and literacy education will support diverse learning needs. Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on the academic and personal growth of the youth in our community. Must be available 24 days of the summer between 9-1.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Develop and implement engaging lessons in Recreation, Tutoring, Homework Help, Literacy, Bible, and Social Emotional Programs.
- Manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment for all students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student development.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or learning challenges.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Manage a staff of 5
