We are seeking a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Williamsburg, VA, who wants to build a flourishing clinical caseload while learning how to run a successful business. This position is structured as a private practice incubator: we cover 100% of administrative overhead, offer performance-tiered splits up to 65%, and deliver hands-on mentorship to help you launch your own independent practice.
When you are ready to transition to full independence, you keep your clients and take them with you.
Tiered Compensation & Practice Support
We offer a competitive, performance-tiered commission split that rewards high-volume work as your client load grows:
- 60/40 Base Split: You keep 60% of all collected session revenue during initial onboarding and caseload building.
- 65/35 High-Volume Split: Automatically unlocked once maintaining 20 completed client sessions per week.
Practice Overhead Covered 100% by Us:
- Complete Administrative Infrastructure: Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms, full billing services, and client intake management.
- Targeted Local Marketing: Customized marketing campaigns across the Williamsburg area to build your calendar quickly.
- Total Autonomy: You set your own schedule, choose your client demographics, manage your own calendar, and determine your workload.
LLC Setup & Business Mentorship
We don't just host your practice; we mentor you step-by-step on how to build your own business entity:
- Step-by-step guidance on establishing your LLC in Virginia, obtaining an EIN, and handling local Williamsburg business licensing.
- Training on private practice bookkeeping basics, business banking, tax structures for 1099 contractors, and fee setting.
- Guidance on insurance credentialing and private-pay marketing strategies.
- A structured transition plan for seamlessly transferring your clients, records, and billing to your new practice when you are ready to launch independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to clients in-person in Williamsburg, VA, or via secure telehealth.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner within the provided EHR system.
- Maintain active, unrestricted licensure with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
- Engage in monthly business mentorship sessions to develop your independent private practice launch plan.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
