Duties
- Implement individualized ABA therapy plans and skill acquisition programs for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions to inform treatment adjustments
- Support behavioral intervention strategies during therapy sessions, ensuring consistency and adherence to protocols
- Assist with client intake assessments, behavioral evaluations, and progress monitoring in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and team members regarding treatment goals, progress updates, and behavioral concerns
- Maintain detailed medical records, documentation of therapy sessions, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in ongoing training on applied behavior analysis techniques, behavior intervention methods, and special education practices to enhance service quality
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred
- Familiarity with data collection methods and implementing behavior intervention plans in ABA therapy settings
- Prior experience working with children in educational or therapeutic environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient care practices is a plus
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in therapy implementation
