Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences
• Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting regular stock checks
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products and store policies while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
• Assist with merchandising efforts to create an inviting store environment that highlights featured products and promotions

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar retail environment
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing displays, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions
• Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to conduct product demos confidently

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
