What you’ll be doing
You’ll support patient care and clinic flow across both clinical and front-office tasks:
- · Rooming patients; documenting histories, vitals, and relevant clinical information
- · Assisting with in-office procedures using sterile technique
- · Preparing rooms, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of clinical areas
- · Sterilizing instruments (autoclave) and organizing surgical instruments
- · Performing X-rays
- · Ordering labs and imaging as directed
- · Supporting scheduling, check-in/check-out, phone triage, and accurate charting
- · Maintaining compliance with HIPAA/OSHA
- · Occasional community/outreach events (health fairs, races, trade shows)
Who we’re looking for
You may be a great fit if you:
- · Have prior experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, or allied health professional (even if it’s been a while)
- · Are comfortable re-learning workflows and asking questions early
- · Have solid medical terminology basics and patient-care instincts
- · Can use a computer confidently and document accurately
- · Show up on time, stay organized, and keep patients treated with respect
- · Take feedback professionally and apply it
- Preferred (not required):
- · ICD-10 knowledge
- · EHR experience (AdvancedMD)
- · Podiatry experience
- · Insurance verification/troubleshooting experience
