About the Team

Our Residential Services team in Anchorage and Fairbanks provides critical support to individuals facing severe mental health challenges. As a Residential Clinical Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of program managers, clinicians, clinical associates, and peer support specialists, contributing to the successful operation and clinical quality of our residential treatment facilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing Alaska Behavioral Health’s values, mission, and goals.
  • Ensure clinical records comply with AKBH policies, Medicaid, Medicare, and external audit requirements.
  • Oversee performance management, quality assurance, and resource development within Residential Services.
  • Supervise the Residential Team.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical services, including assessment, therapy, group therapy, skill development, case management, and treatment and discharge planning.

  • Position is based in Anchorage, Alaska
  • Full-Time, Exempt 
  • Pay Range: $96,000 - $121,500 annually depending on experience; (Eligible for up to $42,000 in incentive with the average being $16,000)

  • AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children; 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH; 5 weeks of PTO for the first year and 8 weeks of PTO after the first year.

What We Need from You

  • Master’s degree in mental health or related field required; professional license or certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in a clinical setting with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of target populations (e.g., individuals with severe mental illness, addiction, or high-risk conditions)
  • Strong leadership skills, expertise in performance management, and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team

Salary : $96,000 - $121,500
