Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking applicants for a Primary Care Prescriber. Come work for a financially stable behavioral health provider located in beautiful Fairbanks. Do you love the outdoors? About the Team

Our medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving patient, caregivers, clinical staff, psychiatric and primary care providers. What You’ll Do

• Work in an outpatient setting and perform examinations for new patients and provide continuity of care for existing patients. 
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record working within Organization policy and procedure and quality assurance standards. Time is given daily for review of labs, renewal of medications, and conferencing with colleagues. 
• Be a part of a collaborative team of medical professionals in a work environment that will include psychiatric prescribers and psychotherapy providers.

• Full-Time, Exempt 
• Position is eligible for up to $25,000 Signing Bonus based on length of commitment

• 5 weeks of PTO accrued during the first year, and 8 weeks of PTO accrued annually thereafter. PTO is used for vacation, sick leave, and company observed holidays.
• This is an outpatient position— no weekends, no call, and no holidays!

What We Need from You

• You have a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited school or nursing and are certified or board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• You have or are willing to obtain a unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing (RN) License, Alaska Advanced Practice Registered Nursing (APRN) License, and current DEA certificate
• You have experience or have a desire to work as a primary care provider in a community health psychiatric setting
