About the Team
Our medical department is dedicated to helping our clients improve their lives through a coordinated approach to care involving clients, their caregivers, their clinical staff, and primary care providers. We are proud to be part of a state-wide community of people who share our values, and part of a company that supports us so we can support our clients! The Certified Medical Assistants work as members of the medical/nursing team to provide care to a mentally ill population.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and take their vitals, administer injections, collect health information, etc.
- Coordinate timely and efficient patient flow in the department
- Complete prior authorizations, laboratory requisitions, and other required forms
- Obtain patient records, answer phone calls, and relay information in a timely manner
Good To Know
- Position is based in Wasilla, Alaska
- Full-Time, non-exempt (part time will be considered)
- Pay Range is between $21.00 to $27.18 (depending on experience)
- In addition to base salary, there are opportunities to earn up to $6,600 in annual incentives each year based on individual and organizational goals with the average being $2,500

What We Need from You
- You have a High School Diploma or GED and are a licensed CMA with certification in CPR and First Aid
- You are proficient in EMR usage and adapt quickly to new systems.
