Position Overview

The Paraplanner supports our financial advisors through financial plan preparation, investment analysis, and client relationship management. We are especially interested in candidates who aspire to grow into a Financial Advisor role. This position provides hands-on wealth management experience, exposure to the financial planning process, and opportunities for mentorship and professional development. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes initiative, and wants to build a long-term career in financial advising.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist financial advisors with client meeting preparation, presentations, communication, and follow-up.

· Gather and analyze client financial information to develop personalized financial plans.

· Prepare financial planning reports, investment analyses, and portfolio reviews.

· Maintain accurate client information using financial planning and investment management software.

· Communicate with clients, address questions, and coordinate follow-up activities.

· Collaborate with advisors and team members to complete client service requests promptly.

· Assist with account documentation, transfers, and other operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or a related field strongly preferred.

· Background in financial planning, investment management, or related financial services required.

· Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career as a Financial Advisor.

· CFP® certification or a desire to pursue the designation preferred.

· Experience with eMoney financial planning software preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

· Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills and commitment to exceptional client service.

· Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-office position averaging 40 or more hours per week. Consistent attendance, professionalism, and collaboration with the financial advisory team are expected.
