What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) Recovery Coach position at Anchor Project Center?
Our pay rate for new PRSS is $18 per hour (when providing billable services) and $12 per hour when you are not providing billable services. Our PRSS's are able to provide services from 80% to 90% of their total time on the clock. The 80% PRSS averages $16.80 per hour and the 90% PRSS averages $17.40 per hour.
We are looking for Recovery Warriors/ PRSS that has 2 years of experience in recovery. A good candidate is someone who has walked the path to recovery from a substance use disorder. Someone who can serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery.
The selected candidates will have sufficient Recovery Capital themselves, that they are able to coach our clients through the many roadblocks that life will put on them. The selected candidate will have the experience and knowledge to create a stable environment in their own life.
