- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Perform crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients in distress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and case management for clients.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for proper documentation of diagnoses and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field of therapy.
Experience
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in medical documentation, case management, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of coding practices, particularly ICD-9, is preferred.
