About the Position
Anchor Pointe Wealth is seeking an experienced Licensed Insurance Case Servicing Specialist to support our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys the operational side of the business, including case management, carrier communication, client service, and using technology to efficiently move cases from application through policy issue.
This position offers both in-person and remote work options, providing flexibility for the right candidate. Candidates must be able to effectively manage responsibilities independently, communicate professionally, and maintain productivity whether working in the office or remotely.
The ideal candidate is someone with strong life insurance experience, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to confidently manage digital workflows, CRM systems, carrier portals, and electronic documentation. This position is well suited for a licensed insurance agent with at least three years of experience, an experienced case manager, or a former agent who wants a flexible part-time role while remaining active in the industry.
Please note: This position requires strong computer skills and comfort working with CRM systems, online carrier platforms, email communication, and digital case management tools. Candidates who prefer a primarily phone-based or non-technology role may not be the right fit.
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for managing life and annuity insurance cases from the initial client file through application and ultimately to policy issue. Success in this position requires persistence, organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build productive relationships with insurance carriers, financial institutions, transfer companies, clients, and advisors.

Responsibilities
· Build and establish the initial client file for new insurance cases, including gathering, organizing, and entering required client information and documentation into the appropriate CRM and digital systems.
· Ensure initial client files are complete, accurate, properly documented, and organized before cases proceed through the application process.
· Follow up with life insurance carriers regarding pending applications, underwriting status, and outstanding requirements.
· Contact insurance companies, financial institutions, transfer companies, and other third parties to obtain information and resolve outstanding issues.
· Communicate professionally with clients regarding application requirements, policy updates, and next steps.
· Manage case activity through CRM systems and digital workflow tools.
· Maintain accurate electronic case notes, records, and documentation.
· Monitor case progress and proactively identify issues that may delay underwriting or policy issuance.
· Coordinate with advisors and office staff to ensure cases move efficiently toward completion.
· Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
· Current Maryland Life and Health Insurance License (Required).
· At least three (3) years of insurance industry experience required.
· Strong understanding of life insurance underwriting, applications, and policy issue processes.
· Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn and utilize CRM systems, carrier websites, and online platforms.
· Experience managing insurance cases electronically from submission through issue.
· Experience establishing and maintaining accurate client files and electronic documentation.
· Excellent telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
· Comfortable communicating with insurance carriers, financial institutions, transfer companies, advisors, and clients.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, CRM, and digital documentation systems.
