Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Services Specialist / Medical Office Specialist onsite in our office. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing that important excellent customer support. You'll work within our software system to check insurances, document customer communication and place orders with attention to detail, so you'll need to be comfortable learning new computer skills. You'll use your clerical expertise for the front office functions. We expect professionalism in every interaction. It's necessary to be comfortable interacting with other medical personnel as well as our customers, so great communication in writing and conversation is necessary. Also, we are active listeners who document any conversations with our customers fully. Those interactions are protected and private under HIPAA law.
While our office can be busy, we have a supportive culture. We expect every employee at Anchor Medical to respect their co-workers and jump in where needed to complete goals. We're a small staff, but mighty.

Qualifications
- Customer Service Representatives, Customer Support, and Customer Service skills
- Comfort with computer skills and the desire to learn our system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the medical industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
