About the Job
As a Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities, community integration, and personal growth. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals passionate about care, support, and service—especially those interested in healthcare, social work, psychology, or human services careers.
Available Shift
- Saturday & Sunday: 3:00PM-11:00PM
Responsibilities Include
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence and personal choice.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in ICM.
- Follow the Plan of Care as written by the Delegating Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Assist with meal preparation, medication administration/reminders, and personal care as needed.
- Support individuals in daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered support at all times.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED or College Degree
2. Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
3. Reliable Mobile Communication Device
4. Active Certifications/Licenses: CMT License, First Aid/CPR
5. Motivated and passionate to work with clients that have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
6. Experience with behavioral plans is preferred but not required.
