Preventative Maintenance Technician

Position Purpose:

This role is essential for ensuring that machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency.

Essential Functions:

• Installation & Assembly: Assemble, install, and test new machinery and equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently.
• Inspection & Diagnostics: Conduct quality assessments and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
• Repairs & Adjustments: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards.

Education and Training:

• High school diploma or general education degree; additional technical training or certification is preferred.
• Several years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in performing maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with machinery and equipment
• Communication: Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally required to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to handle materials safely.
• Frequently required to utilize wrist, hand and finger dexterity.

• Warehouse setting

Pay & Benefits

Rate: In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the hourly payrate for this position is $16.44 - $24.66 USD. This payrate is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
