1st Shift Machine Operator

First ShiftMonday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pmPosition Purpose:This position requires you to use simple hand tools in loading and unloading parts from CNC equipment.Essential Functions:Use hand tools such as hammer, torque wrench, drill, plier.Single hand hammer operation in some assembly steps.Ability to read work instructions.Understand basic assembly principles.Work in a fast-paced environment.Has mechanical aptitude.Has a keen eye for details.Requires good communication skills and self-discipline.Education and Training:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Minimum Qualifications:No experience necessary-will train the right candidate.Must be 18 years of age.Physical Demands:Continually required to stand.Occasionally required to walk.Frequently required to utilize wrist, hand and finger dexterity.Must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds / frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds / continually lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Environmental Conditions:Warehouse setting.Behavioral Traits:Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to overtime when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time.Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.Pay & Benefits:Rate: In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the hourly payrate for this position is $16.44 - $20.53 USD.
