WELDER (MIG/TIG)

ANCHOR FABRICATION MS has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
• Welding (MIG/TIG)
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read blueprints
• Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
• Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 years of welding experience
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred

Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals

Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable.
